The short version: X Unfollow Manager Pro does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. Everything runs locally in your browser. There are no servers, no analytics, and no tracking.

1. Information We Collect

X Unfollow Manager Pro (“the extension”) does not collect any personal information. We do not operate any servers, and no data is ever transmitted off your device.

The extension stores the following locally on your device only, using Chrome's built-in storage:

Settings & preferences — your delay timings, filters, and limits, stored via chrome.storage.sync so they persist across your signed-in Chrome browsers.
Unfollowed-profile log — a local record (username, profile URL, timestamp, and session mode) of accounts you've unfollowed, stored via chrome.storage.local. This never leaves your device and exists only so you can review or export it as a CSV.

2. How the Extension Works

The extension operates entirely within your browser on x.com and twitter.com. It reads the page you're viewing to find “Following” buttons and account information, and automates clicks you could perform manually. It does not send this information anywhere.

3. Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions, used strictly for the purposes described:

activeTab / tabs — to detect whether you're on x.com/twitter.com and to target the correct tab for status updates.
storage — to save your settings and the local unfollowed-profile log on your device.
alarms — to keep session timing accurate when the tab is in the background.
offscreen — to maintain accurate timing while a session runs in the background.
host access to x.com / twitter.com — so the extension can operate on those sites only.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or transmit any data to third parties — because we never collect any in the first place. No information leaves your browser.

5. Third-Party Services

The extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

All data is stored locally. You can clear the unfollowed-profile log anytime using the “Clear DB” button in the extension, or by removing the extension from Chrome, which deletes all associated local data.

7. Children's Privacy

The extension is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
